Hi Everybody,

In accordance with Rambler's guidelines, the committee kindly request that you carry details of an emergency contact with you when joining a walk. This can be digitally (in your phone) or in the form of a card kept in an easily accessible place either in your pocket or attached to your rucksack.

Click   here to download the card (pdf) to print out.

Needless to say, the walk leader would only access this information in the event of an emergency i.e. you have an accident or are taken ill on a walk.

It is possible for your emergency number to be accessed even if your phone is locked: if you're unsure how this works,  please speak to a committee member, most of whom know how to do this.  Alternatively, follow this link on how to do it yourself.

Thank you,

Rosemary
